Deandra has been in the behavioral health field for more than 14 years.  She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and in 2020 obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.  She has worked in a number of behavioral health settings to include: inpatient residential treatment facilities, school-based services, a local community service board, and outpatient therapy.

Deandra is passionate about helping individuals gain the skills and tools needed to overcome their traumas and assist them in their growth to become the best version of themselves.  Deandra believes that therapy modalities are not a one size fits all, which is why she utilizes various modalities to include CBT and SFBT, to create an individualized treatment plan best suited for her clients’ needs. Deandra strives to offer individuals the support they need to successfully address life challenges, assist them with finding their strengths, and identify personal solutions to lead a happy and fulfilled life.  She enjoys working with older teens, college students, and adults to reach their full potential.
